The Xbox 360 was a home game console developed by Microsoft as the successor for the Xbox.
The Xbox 360 competed with Sony's PlayStation 3 and Nintendo's Wii as part of the seventh generation of video game consoles. There were several versions of the Xbox hardware with the original models being matte white, a matte black "Elite" model, a "S" (Slim) model and finally an "E" model that looked more like an Xbox One.
Open/free Xbox 360 emulation is still in the early stages with basically no games fully playable. The best Xbox 360 emulator right now can be found in the Xbox One with a decent amount of playable games.
